Janet Ahlberg
Janet was born and educated in England. Her professional qualifications include a science degree and post graduate teaching qualification from Cambridge University and a museum education diploma from Leicester University.
During her career as a museum professional in the UK, Janet wrote exhibition text and pamphlets for Kew Gardens; created award-winning education programmes and information packs to support school visits to museums; and acted as consultant to a nationwide analysis of the training needs of museum professionals.
After moving to Sweden in 2003, Janet studied Swedish to university entrance level and completed a course in Adult Education run by Medborgarskolan. She acted as English language consultant for Uppsala University during the 2007 Linnean Tercentenary Celebrations, shortly before co-founding EIE with Morven. In addition to her involvement with EiE, she has also worked for Uppsala Kommun as a mother-tongue teacher for children and young adults.
